Please kindly note that the Voip issue with our upstream provider, has been resolved. The root cause of the incident is still under investigation, and we are awaiting their official report.

We're experiencing high latency to some destinations in Asia and Australia.
This issue has been escalated to the cable provider for further investigation.

Current Observations:
Johannesburg to Asia: Latency has increased to 259ms (normal baseline: ~116ms)
Cape Town to Asia: Latency has risen to 277ms (normal baseline: ~215ms)

All our paths are fully operational today with full redundancy. The failure on one of the paths was due to a cable break between Klip and Parklands. The path was operational after the provider engineers completed splicing.

Due to a Fibre path failures between JB1 and CT1 Data Centres between 11:05 and 11:10am , Customers were at risk due to the path failure
The service has since restored we are monitoring the link.
