Dear Customer,
Please take note of a Liquid Emergency Change scheduled at NLD 1 (Pietermaritzburg and New Germany) on the 09th September 2024 from 18H00 to 10th September 2024 at 06H00. Liquid need to cut over cables between Pietermaritzburg and New Germany on NLD 1 section 6. Cables were damaged by TLB at road construction. Cables were relocated, and new cable was floated. Construction of the road is continuing, and we are currently at risk of getting damaged by road construction or fire as cable is lying above ground.
IMPACT: Services will be down for a maximum duration of 2Hrs during the change.

Reason for Change:
To cut over cables between Pietermaritzburg and New Germany on NLD 1 section 6. Cables were damaged by TLB at road construction. Cables were relocated, and new cable was floated.
