Dear Network Platforms Clients
Affected Service: Connectivity through Johannesburg Data Centre Description: JB1 Data Centre 2 Cable Management and Clean-up
Impact: Intermittent connectivity as cabling is moved or re-routed.
Scope of Work: Network Platforms is embarking on an exercise to clean up and fix the cabling in JB1 DC 2 at the Johannesburg Data Centre. Clients will experience intermittent connectivity during the maintenance windows as cables are moved or re-routed through the cable management units.
Clients not co-located in DC2 and with protected services will remain unaffected.
