    Good day,

Please be advised of the following scheduled maintenance:

    Maintenance Date and Time:

    Maintenance Start Time : 2026-03-23 23:00

    Maintenance End Time : 2026-03-24 03:00

    Maintenance Description:

The supplier will be performing firmware upgrades on core routers in Cape Town (Teraco Rondebosch), Durban (Teraco Riverhorse), and Johannesburg (Teraco Isando) which will have an impact on all our NLD services.

    Technical Description:

The Supplier will be upgrading the firmware on core routers located within the Teraco data centres in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg. The upgrade will implement a vendor-provided patch addressing stability issues related to recent routing failures observed on the network. The routers form part of the national core infrastructure. The upgrade will be performed sequentially to allow traffic to reroute across alternate paths within the network while each router is upgraded and rebooted. This maintenance is being performed to improve network stability and reduce the risk of similar failures occurring in the future.

    Impact Description:

No impact is expected to client services, as traffic will fail over to the redundant paths.
