    Teraco has planned scheduled Major Electrical Maintenance at the JB1 East Isando Data Centre TEM2 B FEED

    The details are as follows:

     

    Description

    • Data Centre 2

    • Data Centre 3

    • Data Centre 4

     

    SERVICE IMPACT

    • During planned Major Electrical Work at JB1 East the TEM2 MLV B Feed supply will be switched off and isolated.

    • TEM2 MLV A Feed will remain available.  No redundancy as only TEM2 MLV A Feed will be the source of power.

    • Dual-corded devices will not be affected as A feed will be available.  Customer to ensure dual corded device is split over A and B PDU’s.

    • All single-corded devices connected to the B feed will be off. Customers advised to install ATS units or move power connections to the A feed in advance.

    • Only one feed will be worked on at a time ensuring N resilience at all times.

    • No client installations to be undertaken during this period.

    • Maintenance roll back plan in place to mitigate any unplanned or unforeseen circumstances.

    Network Platforms infrastructure is dual feed from both A and B feeds and will be unaffected during this maintenance window.

JB1-DB1 Openserve East NLD Down

    We’re pleased to inform you that the Openserve East NLD between JB1 and DB1 is now fully operational.

    The fault has been resolved by the provider. We will provide a Root Cause Analysis (RFO) if we receive it from the provider.

    This issue has been escalated to the provider for further investigation.

    As per the latest update from Fibreco technician tested and found a fibre break at 13Km from Klip towards Parys.

    The technician is on the way to the fault location.


    ETA is 02hrs.
