    We're experiencing high latency to some destinations in Asia and Australia.

    This issue has been escalated to the cable provider for further investigation.

    Current Observations:

    Johannesburg to Asia: Latency has increased to 175ms (normal baseline: ~116ms)

    Cape Town to Asia: Latency has risen to 194ms (normal baseline: ~135ms)

    The NLD circuits between Cape Town and Durban have been restored. This was caused by a break between Durban and Amanzimtoti on one path and the provider technicians work causing unexpected downtime on another path.

    Traffic has been restored to the direct path between Cape Town and Durban and latency between the two cities is back to normal.
